As any freelancer can give testimony to, passive income can be the one thing that gets you through a tough month. Having a back up funding stash is always good, but making money while virtually doing nothing can really give you the freedom to explore other aspects of your freelance and personal lives. So I went on a hunt to find 50 money filled blog niches you can be dominating. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be able to roll out of bed and have bon-bons and beer for breakfast? (if you’re wondering what this is referencing, take a second to listen to the interview Naomi had with Clay Collins - it’s worth the listen I promise).
But back to our regularly scheduled program, we all want to make (some extra) money online right? Well, below I’ve put together a nice list of 50 niches that will definitely bring you in some serious cash. However, without the passion for the niches, you might get bored quickly and forget the projects, so my one word of advice would be to choose wisely. Some of these niches are perfect to build a strong solid readership, while others I have personally tested and do really well with Google Adsense clicks (I’m talking .75-1.00 per click or better)
And with that said, lets get the list going.

Disclaimer: These blogs will take some time to build up and gain search engine rankings for and/or a steady reader base. This list is not meant to be a “get rich quick” type of scheme. But with some hard work up front, you can put together 1-2 months worth of articles, have them post on auto pilot and literally FORGET about it while you continue working on your freelance business.
i was thinking of putting up a blog about helping the least fortunate (disabled children, poor family) across my country. people can contribute by giving up stories, pictures and the bank account number of the unfortunates. and i will call for confirmation before actually posting it up. i dont generate money. but at least i can make the world a better place
do you think this can work? any ideas to make this even better.
Nice one Zack. I’ve got plans for something along those lines too, but in the meantime I’m trying to set up a blog about my travels/adventures as a kid through the USA and South Africa. Not too sure how to lay it out… any ideas??
