What is Guerrilla Freelancing?

To understand where the idea behind Guerrilla Freelancing came, you’d have to examine two different business/marketing forms. Freelancing in general can be described as follows:

freelancer. a person who works as a writer, designer, performer, or the like, selling work or services by the hour, day, job, etc., rather than working on a regular salary basis for one employer.

And on the other side of things, Guerrilla can be described in a variety of different ways, but the definition I am talking about when “Guerrilla Freelancing” is the one used in Guerrilla Marketing - any of a number of unconventional methods of marketing with minimal resources for maximum results; any marketing campaign that uses non-mainstream tactics and locations.

So by becoming a “Guerrilla Freelancer”, you’re in essense doing things that most conventional freelance articles, coaches and classes will NOT be doing. Taking a small, simple approach to your freelance business, with a touch of creative energy can be great for your business and that is what, in essense, Guerrilla Freelancing is (to me anyways).

My name is Mike Smith and I am a Guerrilla Freelancer who works solely online. Over the past few years I have gained a vast amount of knowledge on the things that work and don’t work with marketing and business in general. This blog is a growing resource of this knowledge so that you may benefit form the pitfalls I have already been through in order to ensure that you do not make the same mistakes I have made.
